Company profile: Main competence in adaptation and interfaces The company Audiotechnik Dietz Vertriebs GmbH develops and sells accessories for the car hifi branch. The main focus lies upon the solution of adaptation problems occurring when hifi-systems of different producers are combined in cars. Among the over 2000 satisfied customers only in Germany hifi-dealers, consumer markets, specialized dealers for car-drivers and car dealers are counted. Today the company which was founded 1st June 1991 by Mr. Achim Engels has got about 40 employees for the indoor service and 10 agents for Germany and is based in Grünstadt (Rhineland-Palatinate) 100 km south-west of Frankfurt. The range of products is sold worldwide by exclusive distributors in over 30 countries. The company’s objective is to satisfy the customers at the best by means of modern and market-driven components – according to the motto “quality, honesty and reliability”.
With its over 1000 car-hifi and multimedia products, Audiotechnik Dietz has become one of the leading specialists for accessories in the car-hifi branch. Right from the start the company has specialized in finding solutions for adaptation problems concerning the installation of car-hifi components by different producers. Later, the range of products was expanded to the complete car-hifi accessory domain. The in-house development department detects and reads out data from cars, it develops and produces interfaces of high demand by itself. Today, Audiotechnik Dietz is concentrating more and more on adaptation problems in the data transmission on digital bus systems in cars. Thus, the range of program can be always up to date with the permanent innovations of the car industry.
All domains of the company are certificated according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. Audiotechnik Dietz complies with all the requests of the international (ECE-regulations), the European (EU-regulations) and the German traffic regulations which are necessary to get a type permission at the Federal Motor Transport Authority. The company is setting standards by permanent innovations and satisfies by a close relationship to its customers and a regular presence on fairs as well as regular trainings the needs of the market. A storage capacity of over 1000 places for pallets enables a fast reaction upon the worldwide customers’ demand. Normally, orders coming in during the morning can be sent out the same day.
